A fire at a bus depot in the Nicetown neighborhood in Philadelphia is causing poor air quality, causing officials to warn residents to limit outdoor activities. NBC10’s Miguel Martinez-Valle has the story.

A yard full of decommissioned SEPTA buses caught fire in Philadelphia’s Nicetown neighborhood early Thursday morning. A few hours later, all that remains are burned-out shells. NBC10’s Siobhan McGirl and Miguel Martinez-Valle are at the scene with the latest. 

SEPTA spokesperson Andrew Busch shared with NBC10 developing details as several SEPTA buses continue to burn at a facility in Nicetown.

SEPTA officials said a train was evacuated in Levittown after a small fire on one of the cars. The fire caused a short delay and one was hurt in the incident, officials said.
